Two arrested after authorities find 1 pound of meth in Rochester home
Two people were arrested Friday evening after local authorities found more than a pound of meth in their home, along with hallucinogens and a large amount of cash.
Authorities carried out the raid around 8 a.m. Thursday at 1120 2nd Street NE in Rochester. According to the report, no one was home at the time of the search.
Inside the home, authorities found: 586.4 grams of methamphetamine, 135.5 grams of marijuana, 2.6 grams of mushrooms, some prescription pills, a handgun and $34,000 in cash.
Investigators located the suspects, Marci Maklenburg, 40 and Michael Mechtel, 39, Friday night at a local attorney's office. Both face multiple felonies, including 1st-degree drug sales.
