Rochester teen accused of threatening two people with a gun

(THE MED CITY BEAT) - A Rochester teen has been arrested after allegedly threatening two individuals with a gun.

The male teen, age 17, was arrested in the downtown subway system on Thursday by an off-duty officer, according to police. The officer was able to recognize the suspect because of a distinctive face tattoo.

He was carrying a loaded handgun at the time of the arrest, police said.

The suspect allegedly confronted two people on Wednesday with a gun. A shot was fired in one of the incidents, though no one was injured.

The 17-year-old is facing charges of second-degree assault and terroristic threats.
