Man arrested following burglary spree through SE Rochester

(THE MED CITY BEAT) - A man was arrested early Friday morning after allegedly going on a theft spree through southeast Rochester.

Jeremy Wilburn, 32, was taken into custody around 4 a.m. near Mayo High School. Police said he stole a bicycle in downtown Rochester before burglarizing a series of vehicles and garages.

Officers discovered stolen credit cards, cell phones and prescription drugs in Wilburn's possession. They later found several items, including Legos and an X-Box 360 console, hidden on the side of a street. 

Wilburn was intoxicated at the time of arrest, police said. The total number of victims is unclear.
