Police: Walmart employee sexually assaulted two women in parking lot
(THE MED CITY BEAT) - A Rochester man was arrested late Thursday evening after two women told police he sexually assaulted them in the north Walmart parking lot.
According to police, the two women were checking out their purchases around 10 p.m. when a male cashier began to flirt with them. The man, identified as 19-year-old Hussein Al Rubayee, then followed the women into the parking lot to help load the purchases into their vehicles.
That's when authorities said Al Rubayee began to make sexually suggestive comments to the women. He then allegedly grabbed the breasts of both women without their consent. He also grabbed the buttocks of one of the women, police said.
The two women left the scene, but eventually returned to the store to notify management. Police eventually arrived and were able to identify Al Rubayee using surveillance video.
Officers later arrested him in the 400 block of 31st Street NE. He faces two counts of 5th-degree sexual conduct, both gross misdemeanors.
The two women did not know Al Rubayee, police said.
