Authorities were responding to a call from a security guard that an intoxicated man was trying to enter the building. The officer was not seriously injured.

Police responded to the scene around 9 p.m. after getting several calls about a loud domestic disturbance. Booth, who was accompanied by his two brothers, was arguing with his ex-girlfriend about ownership of two vehicles.

According to a police report, Booth refused to cooperate with officers after they asked him to calm down. The officer was reportedly trying to move Booth into the back of the squad car when he threw the punch.

Two other officers quickly took Booth down and arrested him.

The officer who was stuck was transported to the hospital with a minor concussion. He has since been treated and released.
