Police investigating $10K commercial burglary in NW Rochester

(THE MED CITY BEAT) - Police are searching for a suspect(s) following a $10,000 commercial burglary in northwest Rochester.

According to the police report, the burglary took pace at All State Mini Storage sometime between May 15 at 5 p.m. and May 19 at 6 a.m. The business is located in the 800 block of 7th Street NW.

The business owner told authorities that a padlock securing the storage trailer was cut off. Specialty tools and flooring equipment were reportedly taken.

The theft does not appear to be connected to the recent rash of burglaries across town. A 43-year-old man was arrested Wednesday in connection to the "vast majority" of more than 100 commercial burglaries since Jan. 1.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Rochester & Olmsted County at 1-800-222-TIPS. You can remain anonymous.
