Armed robbery reported at liquor store in NW Rochester

(THE MED CITY BEAT) - Rochester police are looking for a man who robbed a liquor store Friday night in northwest Rochester.

The robbery was reported around 7 p.m. at El Buen Vino Liquor. According to police, the suspect entered the store, flashed a gun and demanded liquor.

The suspect fled with two bottles of Remy Martin Cognac, valued at $50 each. Police said no one was hurt and the alcohol was the only thing taken.

The store owner described the suspect as a "heavy-set" black male. The incident remains under investigation.
