Female runner won't press charges after boy apologizes for grabbing her butt

(THE MED CITY BEAT) - A Rochester woman has decided not to press charges against two teen boys, after one of them wrote an apology letter for grabbing her buttocks while she was jogging.

The woman, in her 30s, told police she was running on Cascade Trail in northwest Rochester last week when two 13-year-old boys came up to her and "firmly grabbed" her left butt cheek.

The boys took off on their bikes, according to police. The woman followed from a distance and was able to track one of them down at a nearby home.

She told the boy's mother about the incident, who responded by forcing the hormone-raging teen to write an apology later. The woman later reported the incident to police but declined to press charges.
