Glassdoor: Employees give Mayo Clinic's CEO an 86 percent approval rating
(THE MED CITY BEAT) - Mayo Clinic CEO John Noseworthy's approval rating among current and former employees stands at 86 percent, says the workplace review website Glassdoor.
The site on Tuesday announced the winners of its third annual Employees' Choice Awards, honoring the highest rated CEOs in the U.S. and abroad. Google's Larry Page topped the list with a 97 percent approval rating.
Dr. Noseworthy, a neurologist by trade, came up just shy of the top 50 CEOs in America. The cutoff for the list was 88 percent.
Overall, employees rank Mayo as the nation's 10th best place to work. According to Glassdoor, 77 percent of respondents would recommend their job to a friend.
