Man critically injured in crash on Marion Road in Rochester (updated)

A man was critically injured in a crash on Marion Road in Rochester early Monday morning.

Cody Pagenhart, 27, was traveling southbound when his vehicle crossed over the center line and struck a tree, according to Rochester police.

When emergency responders arrived on scene, Pagenhart was not responsive but still breathing. He was transported by helicopter to St. Mary's Hospital.

Witnesses reported that Pagenhart was traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the crash. According to police, he was not wearing a seat belt. A small amount of meth was found in the vehicle.

No one else was involved in the crash. Pagenhart's condition is unknown.
