Man wanted in Wisconsin arson investigation located in Rochester

A man wanted in connection to an arson investigation in Wisconsin was taken into custody Monday by the Rochester Police Department.

Quiiave Hodges, 29, is suspected of setting fire to a house in Eau Claire on Sunday. According to a report by WEAU-TV, local authorities believe Hodges started the fire following a dispute with a roommate.

The suspicious fire prompted the Eau Claire Police Department's Tactical Response Team to set up a perimeter around the home.

Hodges was not located until about 3:30 p.m. Monday. Officers from the Rochester Police Department found him hanging out in the 1400 block of 4th Avenue SE. He was arrested without incident.

Investigators used Hodges' cell phone history to track him down in Rochester. Authorities said he has family living in the area.

In addition to the arson investigation, Hodges was also wanted on a felony warrant from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

Nobody was hurt in the fire. According to Rochester police, Hodges will be transported back to Wisconsin to face charges.
