Police searching for suspect following robbery at local credit union

The Rochester Police Department is searching for a suspect following a robbery Friday afternoon at a local credit union.

The robbery happened around 2:30 p.m. at Affinity Plus Credit Union, located off 55th Street in northwest Rochester. According to police, the suspect handed a teller a note and ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect allegedly told the teller he had a gun. However, it's unclear whether he was actually armed.

Police describe the suspect as a black or Hispanic male, about 6 feet tall, with a slim to medium build. He was wearing a fake mustache.
