(THE MED CITY BEAT) - A group of students from rural Mower County made quite the splash over the weekend at Rochester's Apache Mall.

The group Four Man Trio, based out of Adams, rolled through the halls of the mall this past weekend singing "The Lion Sleeps Tonight," a song originally recorded in South Africa in 1939 and made popular by the Walt Disney film The Lion King.

The singers — Colton, Joseph, Marvin, Boyd and Maxwell — caught the attention of most shoppers, not just for their singing but also for the electronic stuffed animals they used to get around.

As of Tuesday afternoon, a video of the performance posted to Facebook has been viewed about 28,000 times. The video has also been shared by more than 500 different people.
