Armed robbery reported early Friday morning at a Rochester gas station

Police are looking for a suspect involved in an armed robbery early Friday morning at a Rochester gas station.

The incident was reported around 1:30 a.m. at the Holiday gas station on Second Street SW, near St. Marys Hospital. The suspect is described as a black male in his early to mid 20s, about 5'6" to 5'7", with a medium build. He was wearing a black and gray sweatshirt, lighter colored pants and a face mask.

According to police, the suspect entered the store with a plastic bag and told the clerk "fill it or I will kill you." He was armed with a small handgun.

The suspect ran out of the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and eventually got into someone's vehicle. A witness described the getaway car as a silver sedan, possibly a Ford Taurus.
