Details scarce after federal agents raid a Rochester grocery store

Federal authorities raided a Somali grocery store in southeast Rochester Wednesday morning.

Agents from both the FBI and USDA were seen removing several boxes from Towfiq Grocery Store (517 12th St SE) around 9:30 a.m. Neither agency has commented on why the search warrant was executed.

Officers from the Rochester Police Department assisted federal agents in the raid. There's no word on whether any arrests were made.

The store's owners denied interview requests from multiple reporters.
