Man accused of groping teen hostess at downtown Rochester restaurant
A Rochester man was arrested Monday after allegedly going into a downtown restaurant and groping a young female employee.
According to a police report, Wayne Clements, 70, entered the restaurant over the lunch hour, had a drink, and then began attempting to hold the 16-year-old girl's hand and touching her arms.
When a second female employee intervened, Clements tried to touch her as well. He was seen rubbing the outside of his genitals (over the pants) with his free hand, notes the report.
Clements was asked to leave the restaurant. On his way out, he allegedly grabbed the 16-year-old's breasts.
He was located a short time later at a nearby bar and arrested. He faces charges of 5th-degree criminal sexual conduct and disorderly conduct.
Police are withholding the name of the restaurant to protect the victim's identity.
