Authorities bust marijuana grow operation in NE Rochester

Police have confiscated 34 marijuana plants from a home in northeast Rochester.

Authorities discovered the grow operation while executing a search warrant Thursday morning at 2639 Lisa Lane NW. The home's property borders Schaeffer Academy.

They also confiscated seven ounces of dried marijuana, small amounts of synthetic drugs, five guns and $1,000 in cash.

The homeowner, who was home at the time, was not arrested on scene (for reasons not yet made public). However, he is expected to be charged next week.
