Police investigating reports of shots fired in NW Rochester

Police responded to reports of shots fired early Sunday morning in northwest Rochester.

About four to five callers reported hearing gunshots go off in the area of 50th Street and 18th Avenue NW around 3:50 a.m. After the shots went off, one caller heard yelling and screaming, then witnessed five cars leaving the scene westbound on 50th Street.

Officers did not find any victims or damage to property, according to a police report. No arrests have been made.
