Have you always wanted to see a rock legend in concert? Here's your chance. Sort of. A nationally-touring Elton John tribute band, led by actor and singer Craig Meyer, will stop into town Friday night for a show at Mayo Civic Center's Presentation Hall. Tickets are $29.

Over at Canadian Honker, there will live music both Friday (video below) and Saturday (jazz) nights. Dinner specials include crab-stuffed ravioli and juicy prime rib. Looking for something sweet at the end of the night? Try their homemade chocolate tort for dessert.

Cupcakes are on tap at LTS Brewing Company. The microbrewery is offering free baked goodies on Saturday and Sunday with the purchase of any pint. Limit one per customer, while supplies last (the cupcakes, not the beer).

Old Abe Coffee Co. — best known for its traveling coffee trike — is "hoping to keep you going all night long," as well as the morning after, with a pair of 16 ounce coffee growlers. Each set comes in a handsome gift pack with two golden-wrapped coffee bean dark chocolates. The best part: he will even deliver the gifts to your home or business (presumably not on a tricycle).
