Calling local musicians: Performers needed for 2017 outdoor concerts

Riverside Concerts, the city of Rochester's music department, is looking for local musicians and bands to play at next summer's Thursdays on First and 3rd and Down by the Riverside events. 

All musical genres will be considered and original material is encouraged. Here are the requirements, courtesy Riverside:

Thursdays on First & 3rd:

  1. Must have enough material to fill a 60 minute set
  2. Must provide own backline (on-stage instruments and amplification)

Down by the Riverside Requirements:

  1. Must have enough material to fill a 45 minute set
  2. Must provide own backline (on-stage instruments and amplification)
  3. Must be based in Southeast MN, or at least have one member with a direct tie (e.g., "attended an area high school," "grew up on a farm in rural Doge County," etc.) to the 11 county region around Southeast MN
