Chamber loses two key staffers

The chamber is going through another shake-up.

Over the past month, two staff members with public-facing roles have announced plans to leave the organization. Events manager Meghann Southwick has taken a similar job at the Rochester Downtown Alliance, and communications head Vanessa Carroll will head over to do design for University of Minnesota Rochester.

The offices of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce have been swirling with uncertainty since the sudden departure in August of former president Rob Miller.

An outside firm is looking into claims made by a former employee that Miller discriminated against women in the workplace. That investigation should wrap up by the end of the month.
