(THE MED CITY BEAT) - A Rochester woman was seriously injured in a crash early Friday morning on U.S. 52 in Fillmore County.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a Dodge Durango was headed north on the highway at about 12:30 a.m. Friday when the driver lost control near Fountain. Troopers say the SUV went into a ditch and rolled "multiple times."

Kayla Bale, 23, was hospitalized with a serious injury, according to the patrol's website. Three others in the vehicle, all Austin residents in their early 20s, did not suffer significant injuries.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
