United Way of Olmsted County meets $4.1 million fundraising goal

(THE MED CITY BEAT) - The United Way of Olmsted County has met its $4.1 million fundraising goal for the 2014 campaign.

The organization made the announcement at its annual celebration Tuesday night in Rochester. The money will be used to support the local United Way and its community partners.

“Our entire community benefits when a child succeeds in school, when people have good health, and when workers can support their families,” said 2014 Campaign Chair Don Supalla.

The organization recognized several businesses for their employee campaigns and corporate gifts. The Live United Campaign Award, the top campaign award of the night, was given to Southeast Service Cooperative.
