New Rochester food truck to serve up burgers, salmon and salads

Another Rochester business owner is joining the food truck craze.

Bryan Bachman, owner of Catering For All It's Worth and Nowhere Special (previously the BBQ Shack off of 37th Street), recently purchased the food truck below and plans to have it up and running within the next week. The truck will specialize in gourmet burgers, grilled salmon and salads.

The initial plan is to start out selling at Nowhere Special during the week, and Kinney Creek and LTS breweries on weekends. Bachman told us he is looking to offer lunch-hour service downtown next spring. (He has not made up his mind about operating downtown during the late-night hours.)

At least three local businesses are operating, or have announced plans to operate, a food truck in downtown Rochester. A recent ordinance change allows mobile food units to set up in designated zones downtown.

A number of other popular trucks — from Lucy's Tacos to Twisted Barrel Wood Fired Pizza — have popped up outside the downtown in recent years, as well.
