Is Top Shots closed for good?

Top Shots appears to have hit the bottom.

The downtown bar, located at 316 South Broadway, has been shut down since early April. At the time, the business said it was "temporarily going through some necessary changes."

However, the City Clerk's Office said this week that the bar's liquor license is no longer active due its inability to meet "all requirements for the license under state law and city ordinance."

We peeked through the bar's front window Tuesday afternoon and found that just about all the furniture had been taken out.

Despite multiple inquiries, owner Krisse Zabel declined to comment on whether the bar will reopen. But as one local bar owner told us, "There is no way you can recover from being closed this long."
