Searching for the right preschool can be difficult; now parents and caregivers can learn about the community's offerings all in one place.

Rochester Public Library (RPL) is teaming up with Rochester Area Moms to hold the second annual Rochester Area Preschool Fair to introduce parents and caregivers to local preschool options.

“We want to help parents connect with local preschools,” says one of the organizers of the fair and RPL staff member, Laura Randolph. “Many parents are overwhelmed by the options and have requested an opportunity to meet with local educators all in one place.”

The fair will feature representatives from various preschools in the community. Each representative will provide information about their programs and what makes them unique. Randolph says having face-to-face conversations with preschool professionals can help parents make tough decisions. “It’s important for parents to feel like they understand what each option offers,” explains Randolph, “and the library is a natural place for parents and preschools to come together to have conversations.”

The Rochester Area Preschool Fair will run from 1 PM to 3 PM in the Rochester Public Library Auditorium on Saturday, November 18.
