Rochester weather: 4 to 8 inches of snow expected Monday into Tuesday

A winter storm warning is in effect until 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Forecasters are calling for snow and wintry travel for Monday into Tuesday, with the heaviest snowfall expected during the afternoon and evening hours of Monday. In total, our region can expect between four and eight inches.

According to NWS La Crosse: Travel will be impacted with slippery, snow covered roads - including the Monday evening commute. Some blowing and drifting snow is possible in the wind prone areas.
